友達のバイト先に行ったら隣にリサイクルショップがあっていろんな商品券を売っていた。
Amazonギフト券も売ってるのかなと思って店員さんに聞いてみたんだけど、意外なことにチケット以外のギフト券は売っていなかった。あんなに人気があるギフト券なのにスゴい意外。
チケットショップにどうしてAmazonギフト券は売っていないのか聞いてみたところ、さすがなんでも知っている店員さんはスラスラと教えてくれた。
簡単に言えば、Amazonギフト券みたいなデジタルの商品券はビール券みたいな紙に印刷された商品券と違くて、台紙には価値はない。その代わりプラスティックカードに印刷されているギフト券番号に価値がある。そのものはいらない。番号だけあればいい。
ただ紙の商品券は使えばお店で処分されて無くなるが、ギフト券番号は使ったものなのか使っていないのかがわからない。英数字が消えるわけではないから。
だからチケット屋はそのギフト券の乱数が使用済みなのか未使用なのかがわからない。だから手を出さないというわけ。
